3. Test Registration & Refunds
- All test registrations must be completed and paid for in advance of the test date.
- Test fees are generally non-refundable. However, you may be eligible for a partial refund if you cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled test date.
- If you need to reschedule your test, you must do so at least 3 business days before your scheduled test date.
- In case of technical issues or other circumstances within our control that prevent test administration, we may offer a free rescheduling or a full refund at our discretion.
4. Test-Taking Conditions
- You must comply with all test security procedures and protocols as directed by Cicate or our testing partners.
- For online tests, you must have appropriate equipment meeting our technical specifications and a stable internet connection.
- We use various security measures, including but not limited to remote proctoring, ID verification, and AI monitoring to ensure test integrity.
- You agree not to engage in any form of cheating, including using unauthorized materials, receiving assistance, or attempting to compromise test content.
- Cicate reserves the right to cancel scores and ban individuals from future testing if we have reason to believe test security has been compromised.
5. Score Reporting
- Cicate will make reasonable efforts to release test scores within the published timeframes, but we do not guarantee specific delivery dates.
- You authorize Cicate to share your test scores with institutions or organizations you designate during registration or after testing.
- Score reports may be withheld or canceled if we have reason to believe they are invalid due to testing irregularities or violations of these Terms.
- You may request a score review or appeal according to our published procedures, subject to additional fees which may be refunded if an error is confirmed.
6. Accommodations for Test Takers with Disabilities
- Cicate is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for test takers with documented disabilities in accordance with applicable laws.
- Requests for accommodations must be submitted at least 4 weeks before your test date with appropriate documentation.
- We reserve the right to request additional information or documentation to support accommodation requests.
- While we strive to provide appropriate accommodations, we cannot guarantee that all requested accommodations will be granted.
7. Intellectual Property
All test content, practice materials, website content, logos, trademarks, and other materials provided by Cicate are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of Cicate or its licensors.
- You cannot under any circumstances reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any test content or materials.
- Sharing or discussing specific test questions or content with others is strictly prohibited, even after completing your test.
- Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action and disqualification from current and future tests.
8. Prohibited Use
You must not:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code through our Services
- Hack, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt our Services
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Attempt to compromise test security or the integrity of our assessment systems
- Engage in any form of cheating or academic dishonesty
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from our website ("screen scraping")
We will report any abuse to the relevant authorities and take appropriate legal action.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific test registration giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cicate, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of our Services or violation of these Terms.
